I am new here in Canada, and to all newcomers, this subject is very common. Wherever I go, the topic will be about the Ottawa winter 2022. First-year here? haha! Do you like Canada?! Wait till you experience the winter! I am sure that all newcomers can relate to this.
Today, the storm arrived, I wore my winter clothes, and went to Tim Hortons walking! under the snow! To me, it was a lovely, beautiful experience. After a few minutes of walking, I arrived at Tim Hortons. Few people inside, all wearing summery clothes, enjoying their hot coffee in a warm place.
People here wear winter Jackets, and underneath, summery cloth! This Winter Jacket is a savior lol. A small jacket can save you from windy and snowy weather. Back in Lebanon, where I came from, some jackets don’t resist -1 degrees! Just a fun fact.
Moreover, such information is very important, people must know this, here humans are living their lives even if it is winter; even if it is – 30; even if it is cloudy and snowy weather. Coffee shops, restaurants, malls, everything open and public transportation will be functional.
To summarize, now I can say that winter is not that ugly. If you are landing here, and visiting soon, do not worry, everything functions normally, even during bad times. Good luck!
